Development 101 · Nonprofit Fundraising Fundamentals

An exclusive opportunity for ’Quin Impact Fund Grantees

Ask the Turtle has set aside two Wednesday cohorts of Development 101 this winter specifically for ’Quin Impact Fund grantees: one meets weekly on Wednesday mornings, the other every other Wednesday afternoon. Let us know you are interested and Nate will reach out personally to answer your questions. Sharing your interest is not a commitment.

  • 8 live sessions on Zoom, 90 minutes each
  • Up to 100% of the $3,000 per-person tuition reimbursable for eligible Massachusetts nonprofits
Which cohort interests you?

Both cohorts cover the same eight 90-minute sessions; only the rhythm is different. Weekly finishes sooner. Every other week leaves more time between sessions to put ideas to work with your team. All times are Eastern.

A little about you
The Massachusetts training grant

The Workforce Training Fund Express Program can reimburse up to 100% of tuition. An organization qualifies when all three are true:

  • 100 or fewer W-2 employees in Massachusetts
  • A physical location in Massachusetts
  • Unemployment insurance paid by the contributory method
Do you think your organization qualifies? (optional)

Not sure, or think you may not qualify? Tell us anyway. Nate is glad to talk it through with you.

Anything you would like Nate to know?

This only lets Nate know you are interested. It is not a commitment, and nothing is owed. He will follow up personally within two business days.

We use what you share here only to follow up about this course. Privacy.

If you use the grant

Three steps, and we walk them with you.

  1. You apply directly

Applications go to Commonwealth Corporation at commcorp.org/express, at least 21 days before the first session (by November 11 for a December 2 start).

  2. We wait for your award

We do not invoice until your grant is approved. Tuition is then due before the first session.

  3. You are reimbursed

After your team completes the course, the Commonwealth pays you back. Our step-by-step grant guide covers every form.

The grant covers W-2 employees, up to $3,000 per person and $15,000 per organization each calendar year. Board members are welcome in the room; their seats are simply not covered. See the eight sessions.
